The 2016-2018 response plan establishes an action plan across various sectors and aims to build the capacity of Jordanian authorities, to improve the service delivery system and infrastructure in areas affected by demographic stress, to meet the needs of both Syrian refugees and nationals affected by the crisis, to provide employment and livelihood opportunities, to mitigate pressures, and to support the government budget.

Egypt's Constitution of 2014

Article 91 enshrines the principle of nonrefoulement and guarantees the provision of protection to refugees and asylum-seekers. Article 88 stipulates that the State shall safeguard the interests of Egyptians living abroad, protect them and protect their rights and freedoms, enable them to perform their public duties towards the State and society, and encourage their contribution to the development of the nation. It further states that the law shall regulate the participation of Egyptians living abroad in elections and referendums in a manner consistent with their particular circumstances. Article 244 stipulates that the State shall endeavor that Egyptians living abroad be appropriately represented in the first House of Representatives to be elected after the entry into force of the Constitution. Article 23 sets forth that the State shall ensure the participation of Egyptian expatriates in the progress of scientific research. The Constitution also provides a framework for outreach to the Egyptian community abroad, including their participation in social and economic development and political processes.

Lebanon Crisis Response Plan 2015-2016 (LCRP)

The Response Plan has three strategic priorities (ensuring humanitarian assistance and protection for poor Lebanese communities and vulnerable Syrian refugees; improving access to and quality of services; and reinforcing stability in the country) and includes three response areas based on needs, potential impact on stability and capacity of implementation (fundamental coping mechanisms; capacity-building for recovery; and sustaining investment in national capacities).

National Policy for Addressing Internal Displacement in the Republic of Yemen

The National Policy to Address and Resolve Internal Displacement in the Republic of Yemen was developed in collaboration with the UNHCR and several internal ministries to establish a national IDP policy that seeks to comprehensively address and resolve internal displacement in Yemen through three goals: preventing future involuntary displacement; assisting and protecting IDPs and host communities; and finding safe and lasting solutions for IDPs, including by supporting their return and the reconstruction of conflict-affected areas.
