Iraq and the Syrian Arab Republic signed a memorandum of understanding on a mutual exemption of entry visas for holders of diplomatic, service, private and official passports.
Resolution No. 1 imposes new fees for applications submitted to the Labour Market Regulatory Authority regarding issues, to renew or cancel work permits, to register notifications of absence from work, to increase the number of work permits, and apply for residence and entry permits for family members.
Law No. 21 regulates the entry, exit and residency requirements of expatriates, namely migrant workers, in Qatar. This law has since been amended by Law No. 1 of 2017 and Law No. 13 of 2018.
Ministerial Decree No. 764 delineates a standard employment contract, requires employers to offer contracts that conform to it and to renew those already in force prior to the decree.

Ministerial order No. 1/1935 increases the wages of migrants working in specific jobs in the public sector by providing them with a 15 per cent stipend for a living allowance.
Ministerial Order No. 67 of 2013 amends Order No. 26 of 2008 regarding fees imposed on foreign employers as well as Bahrani employers for work permits and renewals of residence permits for family members of migrant workers.
Morocco's Mobility Partnership with the European Union (EU) seeks to better inform Moroccans about legal options for migration to the EU and to support Moroccan efforts, including with capacity-building, to prevent irregular migration and combat trafficking and smuggling networks. It aims to improve the exchange of information between Morocco and the EU and cooperation on the administrative, operational and technical levels to identify and dismantle such networks. The agreement also provides for cooperation to support “the socioeconomic development of regions with high migration potential”, and information exchange and technical cooperation on border management as well as an agreement to strengthen asylum authorities in Morocco, developing asylum legislation and protecting refugees.
Bahrain introduced several new regulations regarding migrant workers in 2013. Order No. 4 of 2013 amends provisions of Order No. 76 of 2008 with respect to regulating work permits of foreigners other than domestic workers.
Law No. 4 regulates entry, exit, residence and sponsorship of migrants.
